Bariatric-Friendly Orange Creamsicle Fluff


This is one of those light, comforting recipes that feels a little like a treat while still being gentle on the stomach. It’s soft, simple, and easy to adjust depending on what your body can handle.


Ingredients

  • 1 box sugar-free orange Jell-O
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 container (5-6 oz) light Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)
  • 1 tub (8oz) light whipped topping (i used sugar free cool whip)
  • optional:
    • 1/2 cup mandarin oranges, drained well
    • 1/2 chopped pineapple

Instructions

  • In A bowl, Dissolve the orange Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add 1/2 cup cold water and mix well.
  • Let the mixture cool in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes – you don’t want it fully set, just slightly thickened.
  • gently stir in the Greek Yogurt (your choice on flavor but vanilla or plain work best) until smooth
  • Fold in the whipped topping slowly until everything is lgiht and fluffy.
  • if using, gently fold in the oranges or pineapple.
  • refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours until fully set.

Serving Notes

  • Start with small portions to see how your body tolerates it.
  • Best served cold.
  • Can be eaten as a snack or light desert.
